Christ The Knowledge Of God Series
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

II Peter 1:2-3
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
As we mature in the knowledge of God we will have the perfect answers to life's problems, and God's people will experience great change. We begin to develop a new nature as our minds and hearts become illuminated by the Word. A bright nature, one of gentleness, meekness, and moral virtue will evolve from this knowledge. It will create a heart within that seeks and sees good, is full of light not darkness, a heart that loves God more than the things He has created, yet holds creation precious as it is God's gift to men. Cruelty and abuse will disappear as love manifests itself in the light of Truth. There are few people today that even remotely approach this bright nature. When Eve was given to Adam as his wife they had bright natures and were in perfect harmony with God, each other and all creation. What brought a drastic sudden change to this perfection was choosing the wrong knowledge, therefore developing a different nature, causing humanity to be out of joint, out of harmony, dividing us from God. The evil fruit of this knowledge changed our minds from God's thoughts and our ways are now foreign to His. We were mentally corrupted.
Eve became the first fruit of this knowledge and we, as her descendants, are in her image. The world we have populated is tainted in every aspect by this knowledge and the resulting fruit is the immoral, crumbling world we see today. This includes the world's churches. In fact, for the most part, it is the message preached by the church that has brought iniquity and judgment to mankind as its doctrine is based on the wrong thinking. The scriptures are truth for sure, and from the correct source, but they are comprehended through minds developed over the ages from the advice, the counsel, the fruit of Satan's knowledge. How could the world's churches ever be the Bride of Christ, Zion, New Jerusalem? Although beautiful to look at, eloquent in song and speech, on the inside her nature is like the family tree she is a part of, bringing destruction, pestilence, and plagues to man. All the religions of the world, be they actual edifices for worship of Satan or disguised as godly organizations, are built from minds riddled with knowledge from the Tree of Good and Evil, Satan himself. The only way to rectify all this is to be born again. Unfortunately many are cheated of restoration right here at baptism because of false doctrine. Example: nowhere in the Bible will you find anyone baptizing a convert in the titles of God. The early church, people that walked with Christ personally, baptized "in the name of Jesus". Father is a title, He is the Father of creation, He is the Son to bring salvation to man, He is the Holy Spirit that dwells with us and in us. Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the relationship of God to His people, who He is to us. He has many names, Jehovah, El Shaddai, Elohim, Yahweh, Adonai, to name just a few, but above all names, even those of His own, is the name of Jesus or Yeshua. He placed all of His authority in that name and it is through that name we are to be baptized.
Colossians 2:9-10 says,
9 For in Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. (You are complete in Jesus, not His titles.)
He then tells us in Matthew 28:19,
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
See it? In the name of. Now let us see how Peter responded to His orders in Acts 2:38-39.
Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off (this is us), as many as the Lord our God will call."
They are doing it the same way in Acts 8:16.
16 For as yet He (the Holy Spirit) had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
The same in Acts 10:48.
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.
You will find nowhere in the Bible where they baptized in the titles. It's a false doctrine, a lie, a deception to stop us from being able to see or understand the Kingdom.
John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
See how this tainted knowledge has us defeated before we ever get started? Now think about this, although improperly baptized, how many of us have tried to enter into a blood covenant relationship with Jesus at communion while we are still descendants of Eve! We unwittingly offered ourselves to the Word of God, drank of His blood, desiring to become blood kin, yet completely tainted with the knowledge or words of Satan as the offspring of Eve.
Genesis 2:9
9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food (physical food). The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (mental food).
Genesis 3:6
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Let us now read from Galatians 3:27.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
To put on Christ means put on the Word of God. Baptism separates us from the Tree of Good and Evil, Satan, and wraps us in the Word or knowledge of God. Tainted humanity, as naked mentally as physically, is given a second chance! Correct baptism gives us the continued freedom to make our own choice of the knowledge we choose to mentally ingest rather than being held captive to the world's intellect as a descendant of Eve. Only the correctly baptized can be flesh of Christ's flesh, in His image, and spiritually covered in the light of Truth and revelation however. Even then, we must continue to choose the knowledge for this age as it is fresh fruit from the Tree of Life, Jesus, that is necessary for us to grow to the full stature of the Body of Christ. With this in mind let us examine some other facts concerning communion that pertain also to God's knowledge.
Jesus said in John 6:53.
53 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man (partake of the Word of God, eat of God's knowledge) and drink His blood (enter into His blood covenant), you have no life in you.
We previously discussed wrongly entering into a blood covenant with the Lord with the tainted blood of Adam, but since we are to also eat of His flesh let's look at the word flesh now. In studying the Strongs Hebrew dictionary, the number 1320 gives us the definition of flesh. It comes from 1319 so let us look closely at their meaning.
1320 basar baw-sawr' from 1319; flesh (from its freshness); by extension, body (individual), person; also (by euphem.) the pudenda of a man:--body, (fat, lean) flesh(-ed), kin, (man-)kind, + nakedness, self, skin.
1319 basar baw-sar' a primitive root; properly, to be fresh, i.e. full (rosy, (figuratively) cheerful); to announce (glad news):--messenger, preach, publish, shew forth, (bear, bring, carry, preach, good, tell good) tidings.
So to eat from the flesh of Christ is to feast on the Lamb of God, to taste of the good Word of God is to feed on the knowledge of God. We must be covered by Truth so we, as the body of Christ, can preach the good news of God's covenants and promises to God's remnant and establish the Kingdom. Can we understand the Word became flesh or 1320 for us, and we at baptism become the Word for Him 1319?
You see, discerning the Lord's body is more than we've been taught. He was the Word of God or God's knowledge made flesh. He was sacrificed as God's Passover Lamb for the sins of humanity that all stemmed from Eve's refusal of Him, the Tree of Life. The father of lies thought he had destroyed the knowledge of God in crucifying Christ, thus destroying the only key to humanity's restoration. We had to have a second chance! Only through the death of Jesus could we be forgiven, and only if He resurrected could we be born again through Him, made new creatures and be given that second chance to choose Him.
God has a plan to restore all things corrupted by the adversary and bring into being a new heaven and new earth. But, since all things are created through the Word of God none of the wonderful promises or the covenants could be fulfilled today without Him. Also, without Christ's torturous death at the hands of the enemy to stamp out all the sins of His creation and His glorious victory over death, hell and the grave to implement restoration, we would be forever lost. He took our infirmities, bore our diseases, and paid the death penalty for the sins of all mankind. Sins that evolved from humanity constantly turning their backs on the Lord unknowingly over and over as we depended on our intellect, sought advice from the world, rejecting the knowledge of God, the Word. Do we seriously want to take communion in this shape? But you know what? Many have, because we were not informed.
In closing, how can we not love Him? How can we not want to do our part in making God's plan for restoration known to the rest of humanity? How could we ever refuse the knowledge of God released for this age, knowing it creates a bright nature in us, restores us to God's image and makes us flesh of His flesh!
I Corinthians 15:49
49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
