We Cannot Win Spiritual Battles With Carnal Weapons

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. The strongholds we are to pull down are camaraderies of evil spirits, joined together through people they have in bondage, or maybe even possess, with the object of pulling down, overcoming, killing and destroying God's people. We are not instructed to fight or resist the people, not even those joined together to come against us, but our focus must be on the spirits operating through them. Satan has established playgrounds, to accommodate the victims of these strongholds, as well as religious settings to meet their needs. He has allowed man to form governments, banking systems etc, to allow his evil followers to exercise their control over man especially that part of society that belongs to the Lord.

We may not be able to see these evil beings, but the fruit of their existence in people is quite evident. Of those found in the religious setting for instance, Jude says in verses 10-12,

As we can see from these scriptures, Satan has had a field day in church. For instance, he has deceived large sectors of the religious world, teaching them for instance, it's wrong to be filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. Of course Satan doesn't want us filled with the Holy Spirit, because we would be able to better understand the supernatural with the Spirit guiding us, and equipped to resist him. You see, the church has all these years been trying to solve problems that originate from the spirit realm with carnal thinking from this soulish realm. All thinking from the soul realm stems from the Tree of Good and Evil, who certainly would not teach man anything that would make them superior to him. Therefore our soul man is no match against spirit beings. Just as we cannot win spiritual battles with carnal weapons, so we cannot come out on top using carnal logic or intellect against spiritual wisdom, be it demonic or Godly. When Eve chose the wrong knowledge she caused man's spirit man to die. Now our souls can only be fed by this world and its ruler. Without our spirit we were disconnected from God, His wisdom, and mind. His thoughts became foreign to man and His ways were lost to us. We did things more like the enemy, and Satan's spirits became familiar to us. Soon we could not differentiate our thoughts and actions from those of the enemy. Spirits of anger, depression, fear, addictions, infirmities etc. became so much a part of us that we even thought they ran in our family bloodlines. We inherited what we thought were traits when indeed these actions were the fruit of evil spirits living through us. Carnal thinking, man's soulish intellect, could not see or understand the problems these spirits caused. Without our spirit, we became inferior to what God originally created us to be, and humanity became a pawn of Satan, human toys. Just as religions were birthed through man's intellect, so were his ideas of pleasure, self government, etc. all the product of minds fed from the Tree of Good and Evil. Everything was geared to keep man in bondage to a supernatural world he was not even aware existed. He blindly built movie theaters much to the delight of the spirits of lust, perversion and profanity. Sports bars, yahoo says spirits of idolatry, addictions etc. Come one, come all, we'll show you a real good time as we use you. Are we getting the picture? Do we still really think the controlling agents of this world, governments, banking systems, etc. are actually run by man? How gullible humanity is, and destined for doom they are, laughs Satan and company. He is quite aware the carnal man cannot fight spiritual battles, so, he automatically wins. But, the thinking of the Tree of Good and Evil, although much higher than that of carnal man, is still imperfect. The Tree of Life has a plan that is perfect and His knowledge is far, far superior to the beings He has created. Through Enoch, the 7^th from Adam, we learned that the knowledge God gave the angels at their creation was trivial and incomplete and of course we know that Satan and his followers became self-proclaimed instructors for man after the fall. My point is, no matter how much we think we know, all that we have been taught is inferior to the knowledge Adam and Eve were privy to before the fall.

Not only is our wonderful intellect foolish, it's dangerous. All man has learned from the fallen angels was intended to eventually destroy him from the face of the planet. Satan wants total rule. This is why the enemy will do about anything to keep us from tapping into the supernatural. He wants us to remain carnal man. As a result of his efforts, much of society believes in neither the devil or God. There are also those that believe there is a God, but they blame Him for all the ills of society, because their knowledge is veiled concerning the powers of darkness. There are even some that do not even believe there is a Creator. They theorize the planet and all on it just evolved. All the above are the victims of inferior knowledge that leads to death.

Let us read a few more scriptures to help us understand.

In closing, every area in our lives is affected by the supernatural. The most exotic nuclear weapon may destroy this society, but it will not affect the enemy causing the problems. When evil spirits of oppression, depression, addictions or infirmity have us in bondage, there is no program, no counsel, no advice from anyone on earth that can help if they do not understand the supernatural. I close with the same thought I opened with. We cannot win spiritual battles using carnal weapons, nor can spiritual problems be solved by carnal wisdom.
