A DEEPER LOOK AT ANTI-CHRIST

WE MUST SEE THROUGH THE EYES OF OUR SPIRIT

People are looking for Anti-Christ to rise up in these end times in the body of one evil person from either the political world or the church. Physical Jerusalem or Israel is watched intently to determine when Bible prophecy will be fulfilled and absolutely millions of dollars have also been raised to help people that are Hebrew by birth return to their physical homeland in the effort to help God keep His promises.

Let us examine a few things here. For instance, Ephesians four says Jesus left some Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers to equip the saints for ministry, unite them in faith, bring them to the knowledge of Jesus, and shape them into one body, the perfect man, that is the full stature of Christ. In other words, all the members of the body of Christ make as a whole, one man "Christ". Now I ask you, why would we look at Anti-Christ any different?

Eph 4:11-14
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Why is God raising this body of Christ?

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Most will agree that Satan has perfectly counterfeited all things and if Godly people make up Christ, is it not reasonable that ungodly people make up the Anti-Christ?

Shouldn't we also be looking at New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ with the eyes of our spirit rather than physical Jerusalem?

Rev 21:10-12
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

God's city is made up of people, living stones that have been made Israel! And, speaking of the children or the people of Israel, let us look at Romans nine.

Rom 9:6-8
6 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel,
7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called."
8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh (or by bloodlines), these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

The born again, that remain new creatures and a part of this new generation by not turning back to the world and its master, are the true Israel. I said all of this to help us better understand the thinking and deceit of Satan to make us look at this physical realm, just as he did Eve, and not see the supernatural or the Kingdom of God where real truth comes from and all is good. Our destiny is not controlled by physical Israel, physical governments, the Pope, Rome or the Catholic Church as many teach today. Granted, the spirit of Anti-Christ may be at operation through these, even as it is in the whole world today and the majority of the church as well. Actually it is beyond me how people go back and forth between the literal and symbolic concerning end time events. For instance, the Apostle John was "in the Spirit" on the Lord's Day, the result of which is the book of Revelation. This is receiving supernatural revelation is it not, and is quite symbolic. So why not look for what the Lord is telling us symbolically? For instance, looking through the eyes of your spirit at the Catholic Church we see the very name "Catholic" gives us a pretty good idea of where much of the Anti-Christ spirit can be found.

Webster's dictionary says the word Catholic means:

"universal, general, all-inclusive, broad in sympathies and tastes, liberal: church as a whole, etc." This describes the entire church. The Anti-Christ spirit is in any of us that do not agree with the Word and walk in Truth. This can include the Pope, the Roman Catholic Church, the presidents and kings over man's systems and governments, and you and me as well. Anyone that thinks they can choose for themselves what is good and what is evil, live life the way they want to, disregarding the Word of God, is exactly in the condition of Adam and Eve after the fall. They also believed the lie of Satan, "you can be like God". With all the above fresh on our minds, let us continue our study of the body of Satan, Anti-Christ.

THE NATURE OF ANTI-CHRIST

We are introduced to the nature of this body of Satan propelled people in Daniel 8: 23-25.

Dan 8:23-25
23 "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a king shall arise (the body of Satan), having fierce features (looks like Satan), who understands sinister schemes (thinks like Satan).
24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (the power of Satanic forces); he shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive (they are blessed by Satan); he shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people (they hate and come against God's people).
25 "Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule (this is a people that take advantage of the helpless, cheat and deceive for their own gain); and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity (will operate in unfair scales). He shall even rise against the Prince of princes (Truth, the Word, Jesus); but he shall be broken without human means.

God will do it! How? The King of Kings will destroy this evil body that has been birthed by the lies of Satan, through the Truth that is preached by His body to all the world. People will awaken to the revelation of who the Anti-Christ really is and begin to change and become a part of the body of Christ.

As His people come together, the Jonah anointing that is on them will form a light that will expose sin and cause even more people to run to God's Mountain. Here they learn Truth and find safety, shelter and peace.

Matt 24:14
14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Isa 2:2-3
2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
3 Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; he will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The gospel will not be preached with signs and wonders that can be counterfeited by Satan, but simply the Word of God. Truth will be taught and the Jonah anointing on it will change those that will open spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear. Let's see what the anointing that was on Jonah accomplished. Number one, Jonah responded to the prophetic word: God told him to go to the enemy. Number two, this enemy was the very people that had split the tribes of his people, causing them to be lost among the pagan world. Number three, Jonah was not obedient at first and ended up in the belly of the great fish "Leviathan", symbolic of the beastly Anti-Christ church. He was dead to God's works for three days, but as he began to speak God's word inside Leviathan, the great fish spit him out. Now Jonah was prepared as a minister, a prophet. God sent him on his mission assigned to him in the beginning.

Jonah 3:2
2 "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you."

Jonah 3:5
5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.

We see salvation for the animals as well through this anointing.

Jonah 3:7-8
7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water.
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.

Look at what obedience to the Word and the anointing on it can do!

Jonah 3:10
10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

All of creation has been waiting for this body, compiled of the children of God, to appear. Romans the eighth chapter verifies this:

Rom 8:19-21
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;
21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

The children of God are living stones that the government of God is formed from, and is referred to as God's Holy Mountain of Sion, where there is safety, shelter and peace. The rest make up New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ. We must see this mountain and city with spiritual eyes, however. John saw both and recorded it in Revelation 21: 9-12.

Rev 21:9-10
9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Heb 12:18-24
18 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,
19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.
20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: "And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow."
21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.")
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Side Note: Abel cried out to God through his blood. The Word tells us life is in the blood, and God can actually hear and see that life. Jesus cries out through the blood He shed on the cross, not for Himself as does Abel, but for our forgiveness and salvation. As we are born again through God and we take His blood with His life in it at baptism, we become completely new creatures, alive through His life.

In closing, we take communion today in remembrance of what Jesus did for all creation. But there is more: we also, in doing so, become one with Him. We are bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh, His Bride. We miss this truth when we see only this realm. As we really understand what supernaturally happens at baptism and communion, we also begin to open our spiritual eyes and see why it is so important for Satan to lure the born again back to his realm of corruption and sin. It is imperative that they become lawless. The life of Christ in the new creature is greater than him, and he knows it. He is quite aware that as these children of God begin to appear as the true Body of Christ, all of creation will be delivered and saved, and his body (Anti-Christ) will be defeated forever.

The land mourns, the animals cry out. All awaits the day we can once more see the Kingdom of God and walk in the perfection Adam and Eve, along with creation, enjoyed before the fall.
