As mentioned in earlier posts, Adam and Eve were originally created as spirits with souls in God's image. They were given a body suit so to speak to adapt them to live on planet earth. Earth itself was created, and a beautiful garden planted for them as their home. The couple were to rule, and have dominion over all creation in love as they were in nature like their Creator.
Side Note: The cruelty we see in man today is not a part of God. This cruelty is the result of the soul reacting to the influence of the spirits of murder, anger and rage, ultimately the lawless one. These are a part of the powers and principalities, evil spirits spoken of in Ephesians 6:12 that plague man, using them as vessels to satisfy their own evil appetites.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritualhosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Adam and Eve saw each other's spirits and souls as they communicated with one another, and paid little attention to their body suits. Much as when you look at people today and you don't particularly see what they have on as clothes. You communicate with the person within. Adam therefore did not pay attention to Eve's body suit and vice versa, until they sinned.
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
At this time man's soulish eyes were opened to this realm and his spirit man died. It was also at this time that the soul became the dominant guide, and as a result, lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh and pride of life was birthed into man. Why did this happen? Because, without their spirit, they were no longer in the image of God nor were they inwardly connected to God any longer. He was separated from them. His life force would therefore in time run out and their body suit would begin to decay and eventually die.
HOW COULD THEY RECONNECT?
They couldn't! God is a spirit and their spirit man had died. There was therefore nothing to inwardly connect to. As they reproduced themselves, their children were born without spirits also, and man was destined to operate through their soul and see only in the soul realm. Unfortunately, each generation would be born to die. The only hope for man would be if he could somehow be born again through God, and be like Adam was before the fall, becoming once more a child in His image. Man needed to be complete and perfect with a spirit and a soul covered by a body suit to house him. We know Christ has made a way for this to happen. Now however, let me ask the question, "what else must happen to make I Corinthians 15:51-54 become a reality?"
I Corinthians 15:51-54
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep(die), but we shall all be changed - (into a being that does not die)
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For thiscorruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Deathisswallowed upinvictory."
And how is it possible for Romans 8:18-21 to come about?
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall berevealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;
21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
What can manifest this victory into today? Scripture tells us victory and reversal was a completed accomplishment before the earth was formed. Remember, God has finished all works.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 explains:
9 That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.
10 Is there anything of which it may be said, "See, this is new"? It has already been in ancient times before us.
Restoration of all creation is as the saying goes, "a done deal". Let us look again in Ecclesiastes, chapter three, verses 14 and 15.
14 I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it(no-one can stop God). God does it, that men should fear before Him.
15 That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God requires an account of what is past.
So these promises are sure! When will this come into being, how will this come about, and who will be used to bring it forth? I ask these thought provoking questions to encourage you to search for the answers by delving deeper into the Word of God.
