ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED? - DON'T BE DECEIVED

By Apostle Jacquelyn Fedor
January 5th 2009 12:23 pm

Read the fine print

This false doctrine does not line up with scripture.

Revelation 3:5says plainly:
5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

So what if one is not an overcomer? What if they believe the lie that they do not have to be obedient, or grow in God? What if they are deceived into thinking that just believing in God is good enough. If only these had been encouraged to read the Word they might have found the scripture in James 2:19-20.

James 2:19-20
19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believeand tremble! (Demons are not among the saved, I promise you!)
20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

I Corinthians 6:9-10informs us that the unrighteous, whether they believe or not, will not inherit God's Kingdom.
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

We must, as God's family, overcome these things. There are demonic forces at work that cause us to sin in these areas, but with God's help, especially through deliverance ministers, we can get the victory over them. The word overcome in the Strongs Greek Dictionary is number 3528 meaning subdue, conquer, prevail, get victory.

Ephesians 6:11-12shows us who the enemy is that causes us to stumble.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Galatians 5:19-21is another portion of scripture that is very clear concerning the things a child of God must subdue in their life.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

How many people in the church today operate in these very things, yet in their hearts believe the lie that they are OK and still written in the book of life? Just believe and you will be saved they are taught, yet let us read Hebrews 10:26-31.

Hebrews 10:26

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, (what Jesus did on the cross will not cover willful sin after we are born again. His blood would therefore be shed for nothing in the case of ones that know better, but refuse to change.)

Let us now read verse 29.

Hebrews 10:29-31
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified (set aside by baptism) a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.”
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Does this sound like once saved always saved? I don't think so!

SINNING AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT

There is also sin that will absolutely not be forgiven, now or ever, thus costing us our salvation.

Matthew 12:31-32

31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men (with repentance), but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

When someone is prophesying, working in the gifts of the Spirit etc. and people accuse them of operating in witchcraft, or even say they are working in the flesh, if they misjudged, they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit because, it is He that is working through them. The Holy Spirit came on the feast of Pentecost to bless man with the gifts of the Spirit found in II Corinthians 12. Mankind is gifted with the talent to allow the gifts to flow through them, but it is the Holy Spirit's ability that causes the gifting to function.

I Peter 4:14 explains what I mean.
14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

ALL FALL SHORT OF PERFECTION

Jesus died on the cross for the sins of all humanity. He was sacrificed as our Passover Lamb. He paid the price for our sins and made a way for us to repent, be born again, and given a chance to walk as a new creature. If we should fall short God is quick to forgive us when we see where we are wrong and ask for His pardon. All of us fall short of perfection and thankfully His grace and mercy endures forever on behalf of those who love Him and are earnestly trying to make the Kingdom walk. But, make no mistake, if we purposely sin after baptism, we are no different or better than Adam and Eve. They too were new creatures or a new creation, but they willfully, or knowingly, chose disobedience and sinned. As the result this once innocent pair became the cursed race of mankind. The born again, that is willfully disobedient, can fall into the same category.

You see, Jesus paid the price for even the willful sins of Adam's race, but not for the willful sins of those born again.

WE MUST BE OVERCOMERS

Here are the elementary principles of our first steps in making our walk as an overcomer. First we must believe. Then Peter explains the next few steps in Acts 2:38-40.

Acts 2:38-40

38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Now, again, we must continue to move towards perfection. Hebrews 6:1 explains this.

Hebrews 6:1
1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

My closing remark is this. We all must walk the highway of holiness, because it leads to a narrow path that will take us on into Paradise. If we should lose our lives anywhere along the way, we would be escorted on into Paradise by the angels. However, we will only be escorted if found walking forward. We can't be sliding backwards, standing still refusing maturity and perfection, or willfully sinning off the highway in the devil's territory somewhere. Let us close with the rest of the scripture found in Hebrews 6:4-6.

Hebrews 6:4-6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift (been born again), and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit (filled with the Holy Spirit),
5 and have tasted the good word of God (truth); and the powers of the age to come, (the gifts of the Spirit)
6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

So once saved always saved is a lie directly from the knowledge of the tree of Good and Evil. Please don't be one of the deceived.

WHAT WAS THE SERPENT IN THE GARDEN?

By Apostle Jacquelyn Fedor
December 29th 2008 11:09 am

To continue chopping away at the false doctrine relating to Paradise, let us begin by pointing out, if we say someone is foxy, we don't mean they are a literal fox. In fact, Jesus Himself called Herod a fox in Luke 13:32.

Luke 13:32
32 And He (Jesus) said to them, “Go, tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’

The Hebrews also called undesirable men dogs, but they did not mean they were really dogs either. II Samuel 16:9 is an example.

II Samuel 16:9
9 Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, “Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please, let me go over and take off his head!”

In Matthew 15:24 we see Jesus calling the house of Israel sheep as well, and in Revelation 12:9 we see Satan cast out of heaven and called both Dragon and Serpent.

Matthew 15:24
24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Revelation 12:9
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old (the one in the garden), called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The point I'm trying to make is, ust as we saw in a previous post that the tree of good and evil and the Tree of Life was not the same as the natural trees in the garden of Eden, we see from the above scripture the serpent likewise was not a literal serpent. The being was serpent-like. In looking at the Hebrew dictionary in the Strongs Concordance, the word “serpent”, used in the scriptures pertaining to the garden, is number 5175 meaning serpent, and is from 5172 – whisper, magic, to prognosticate, to divine, enchanter, diligently observe. Do these definitions sound like a literal serpent? Where the serpent in the garden is referred to in the New Testament, such as in II Corinthians 11:3, the number in the Greek dictionary is 3789 to 3700 meaning, sharpness of vision, an artfully malicious person, and take note here, it actually says Satan, to discern, to perceive.”

II Corinthians 11:3 is an example of this New Testament reference.

3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

We find this same serpent, with the same number not only in Revelation 12:9 as we have already read, but in Revelation 20:2 also.

Revelation 20:2
2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old (that deceived Eve), who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

SO, WHY WAS EVE FOOLED?

Let us read from II Corinthians 11:14.

II Corinthians 11:14

14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

Could it be that what Eve saw was a beautiful angel? She wasn't afraid because, unlike fallen man, she and Adam talked with God, saw and talked with angels and was probably quite comfortable with them. They only knew good and were totally innocent of evil. They would therefore be very vulnerable to an artfully malicious being, an enchanter. Satan was beautiful to look at, seemingly wise, and certainly not a serpent like the reptiles that she and Adam had dominion over. So what kind of angel was he?

How did the church get so confused? Here is a possibility. The word “seraphim” (an angel) used in Isaiah 6:2 and Isaiah 6:6 is number 8314. 8314 to 8313 means burning, set on fire (figuratively) poisonous (serpent) especially a seraph (angel), copper color, fiery (serpent), or Seraph. It could be translated as either serpent or seraph, but considering scripture tells us he transformed himself into an angel of light and nowhere says he made himself a serpent, why do we teach this? So a seraphim, a copper colored fiery looking angel would be a better choice. We see seraphim in operation in Isaiah 6:2 and 6.

Isaiah 6:2&6

2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. (not a reptile)
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. (again, not a reptile)

So church, we must not let our eyes be drawn away from the real culprit. James 3:7 is an example of the true serpent that is a literal reptile. That number in Greek is 2062 meaning to creep, a reptile, a serpent.

James 3:7
7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.

I want to encourage those of you that love truth to get a Strongs Concordance, with the Greek and Hebrew dictionary, and study what the Lord is truly saying for yourself. Satan has successfully shrouded himself in lies, disguised himself in false doctrine, and maliciously destroyed and corrupted mankind since the garden. For instance, contrary to popular belief, a serpent was not cursed. It did not walk upright nor was it made to crawl on its belly and eat dust. A better translation of Genesis 3:14 would be: The fiery angel of light would go forth as flowing water to pulverize and make ashes of mankind. Study it out in the Strongs. If we continue to allow him to feed us the fruit of his lies we will, like Adam and Eve, forever keep our soulish eyes opened to see and understand this world of Satan only. If we seek truth however, we will not believe the lies of Satan and our spiritual eyes will begin to open to discern the Kingdom of God and who Satan really is.

II Thessalonians 2:8-10 promises,
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed (uncovered), whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth (as truth is taught) and destroy with the brightness of His coming (through the enlightened body of Christ).
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan (the body of Satan comes forth, constructed of people deceived by false doctrine), with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 and with all unrighteous deception (just as in the garden) among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

HIS HIDING PLACE

Once again Satan is cleverly concealed from most of the church. As Christ is in His body of people that love Truth, so Satan is in his body made up of people that refuse truth and have therefore refused Jesus. They are Anti-Christ unknowingly. These deceived ones self-righteously defend their false doctrines and are ferociously loyal to their denominations. They call themselves “the church”. Satan calls them his hiding place.

WHAT IS THE FEAST OF HANUKKAH?

By Apostle Jacquelyn Fedor
December 22nd 2008 9:49 am

Hanukkah in the New Testament is called the feast of Dedication. Jesus Himself actually celebrated this feast as we see in John 10:22-23.

John 10:22-23
22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter.
23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.

To understand what the feast is about, we must go back in history to about 167 BC to a time when God's people were living under the tyrant control of the Greek empire. Antiochus the 4th, who was in power at the time, insisted that the Hebrew people submit to his pagan culture both in language, arts, and religion. It appeared that God's people were successfully being assimilated into the Hellenistic Grecian culture until Antiochus made the mistake of marching his troops into Jerusalem and totally desecrating the Temple of God. The 75 lb gold Menorah, the Altar and all the utensils were mutilated and defiled. On top of all this, a statue of Zeus was placed on the altar. Antiochus wanted to be honored as well, and insisted that he be addressed as Epiphanes meaning God manifested. Knowing swine were unclean to the Hebrews, he also had a hog sacrificed on the altar and the people of God were forced to attend the ceremony. Without exception, all were to come to the event. This was of course being done to defile and weaken the faith of God's people so they could be absorbed into the religion and lifestyle of the Greeks. But, in the small village of Modi'in, about 15 miles outside of Jerusalem, an old priest named Mattathias Maccabee and his 5 sons rose up in indignation at all this saying “enough is enough!” They led a revolt against those that had desecrated the temple, and then, attacked those holding captive the city. Although ridiculously outnumbered, the Maccabees knew the countryside better than the Greeks and were much more astute at ambush and guerrilla warfare. Besides, the Greeks could not stop a people with the passionate conviction God would never let them down. These faithful men held firm that their God could do, and would do, the impossible for them, and He did. In the month of Kislev (December) this tiny group of people recaptured the temple and the city, and drove the Greeks out of their territory.

RESTORATION

Now everything had to be restored, but the thing they worried the most over was the menorah. It represented the light, Truth, and the 7 holy convocations. They succeeded in repairing it, but when they went to light it, there was only enough holy oil to last one day and it was an eight day procedure to make more. They decided to light it anyway as they wanted the light of Israel to shine on this tremendous victory God had given them, even if it was for one day only. To their amazement, the menorah burned miraculously, non-stop, for 8 days! Truly a miracle and proof of God's continued intervention! So with the temple, altar, menorah and vessels restored, they rededicated the temple. Thus, the first feast of Dedication or Hanukkah was experienced. Over the years a new lampstand has been introduced called the hanukkiah. This menorah has 2 extra branches in remembrance of Hanukkah and Purim, but at the same time they are symbolizing future appointments where God will have intervention with earth and her inhabitants once again.

A FUTURE VICTORY

While the first Hanukkah was celebrated in commemoration of the victory God's people were given over the evil race of people of their era, it at the same time foreshadowed a future victory over man's systems and the religions that back them. God will again intervene to stop the assimilation of, this time, His born again children, the predestined seed of Abraham. It is hard to tell the church today for the most part from the world. They talk like the world, look in dress like the world, and seek the world for entertainment etc. But just as the priesthood so long ago said “enough is enough”, our high priest declared at the cross, “It is finished”. In other words the battle has already been won in the supernatural. In God's timing we will see the manifestation of this victory on earth as the systems of man begin to crumble. We are promised in scripture that the victory will once again go to the family of God. Have you looked at the world scene lately? It may be actually happening at this time.
To see what the Lord has shown us further on this subject, you are invited to read the lectures titled Hanukkah and the Children of Oil – Part One and Part Two.

Happy Hanukkah!

WHY DO WE CELEBRATE THE FEASTS INSTEAD OF CHRISTMAS?

By Apostle Jacquelyn Fedor
December 15th 2008 1:09 pm

I guess the very best answer would be, because God said to! On the other hand, the reason we do not celebrate Christmas is simply that there is nowhere in the Bible that we are instructed to do so, not even to honor Jesus' birthday. In other words it's not scriptural. In fact, while we are discussing holidays that are not scriptural, the Bible does not mention easter eggs and rabbits either. The same goes for witches' costumes and jack 'o lanterns. But, the word of God does say in Leviticus 23:2

2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.

He actually goes on to list the feasts by name, and even sets the time He wants us to celebrate and experience them. Hanukkah and Purim are also feasts we celebrate in honor of victories God miraculously gave Israel in the Maccabean era and in the time of Esther. Relating stories of how God intervened on behalf of Israel to bring about these victories helps new ones to trust and have faith in Him, while the feasts themselves foreshadow future events that are still to happen. Both of these feasts are mentioned in the Bible by the way, and we even find Jesus attending Hanukkah or the Feast of Dedication in John 10:22-23. The Father would love to have us gather as a worldwide family, all at one time, to keep these appointments with Him. Instead, much of the church is gathered around a pagan phallic symbol (the Christmas tree) while their children pray they have been good enough for a jolly elf from the North Pole to bring them gifts as a reward for good behavior. At least that is how most of America celebrates. There are different traditions in each country. The feasts draw us closer to God however, as they are completely about Him and His relationship with us. But, think about it, holidays conjured up by man with the help of the enemy, can be enjoyed by people that do not even know God.

BUT I THOUGHT THE FEASTS ARE FOR THE HEBREWS

This is very true, but have you read Galatians 3:26 through 29 lately?

Galatians 3:26-29
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Abraham was a Hebrew. Therefore, if you are one that has been baptized into Christ, then perhaps it may be a good idea to learn about the feasts. Satan has done everything in his power to eradicate the feasts of God out of the church and replace them with his holidays. Why? Because Abraham's seed is untainted through their new birth. He no longer has a hold on them as they are separate from the people of Adam and their customs. Satan hates losing this control and the influence to corrupt.
Remember I Corinthians 15:53-54.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Fulfillment of this scripture is the very last thing Satan wants us to experience. It would mean all he did in the garden to gain control of this planet and the people God put on it was for nothing. It would mean God won. This is why the trumpets blast with a new message every Monday. We want to do our part in removing the corruption already planted in the church. So ...

LET US LOOK CLOSER AT CHRISTMAS

First of all let me say, no matter how Godly people who celebrate Christmas mean to be, they are allowing themselves to be a part of a totally pagan religion. God came against His people many times for this very thing, mixing worship of Him with the worship of pagan gods. Since December 25th specifically coincides with the birth of the sun god named Phyrgia – hello! This is mixing! In Rome, December 25th was also the time of saturnalia. In the 4th century this pagan ritual was adopted into the Roman church, mixed with the birth of Christ and called the feast of the Nativity. Do we see it? Good and evil. God says “don't eat, don't touch”, yet man continues traditions that are pagan to the core.

JESUS, THE FIRST-BORN OF THE NEW CREATURES

The second chapter of Luke gives us a beautiful account of how Jesus was born, why He was born, where He was born and to whom, but the gospels do not indicate a day or even the month of Jesus' birth. Did God forget to include this information? I don't think so. In fact, the real truth is, He knew He was going to be “born again” through baptism. So, why would He even want His birth into the cursed race that He had come to save from sin, to be celebrated? His death and resurrection is what made the rebirth and covenants possible for us and that is exactly what we are to remember especially at Passover.

In Luke 22:15-19 Jesus says:

15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

In verse 19

19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

I challenge you to find anywhere in the Bible where Jesus gave a command such as this to celebrate His birth. Let's face it church, the Christmas holiday is not Godly! Even the nativity scene with the three kings bringing gifts to baby Jesus in the manger is a hoax. According to scripture He was a child in a house by the time the entourage arrived there and nowhere does it tell us to re-enact the scenario.

Matthew 2:11

11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

I'm not saying all customs are bad, but God does not approve of those that are of pagan origin or certainly those that are against Biblical teachings. You cannot mix a lie with truth and make it alright with God. All lies originate with Satan. The fact that a Christian church mixes Santa and elves with manger scenes and angels, and colored eggs and rabbits after sunrise services at easter, should be a real warning to her people. This is especially so if their leadership, after hearing truth, chooses to continue in these pagan customs, because they admittedly enjoy them.

John 8:44 says of this kind,

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning , and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

There is no lie in God. If what we are doing involves little white, seemingly harmless lies, we are not acting as His children. We become the deceived and no different than the original pair.

IN CLOSING

If studying and experiencing the Feasts of Leviticus 23 matures us to God's image, then it's pretty easy to see that the study of Satan's holidays, finding they are pagan, yet choosing to experience them anyway, would shape us into his image. As a prophet once said, “in the end times heaven and hell will meet face to face through the human race”. The Feasts that nourish us with Truth will produce the body of Christ, while Satan's counterfeit feasts are feeding lies and shaping a people for the body of the one that is against truth, the father of the lie.

II Thessalonians 2:9-12
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Since Jesus is the Way, Truth and Life, these become anti-Christ, the body of Satan.
